Ahsan Bakhtawari, former President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), has been inducted into the Central Core Committee of the United Business Group (UBG). UBG Patron-in-Chief, S.M. Tanveer, made the announcement after the Federal Core Committee's approval. Tariq Mahmood from Lahore has also been approved to join the committee.
Ahsan Bakhtawari expressed gratitude to UBG's leadership, saying, "UBG is the largest representative platform for Pakistan's business community, and being part of its Central Core Committee is an honor." He pledged to contribute positively to resolving business community issues and promoting entrepreneurship, particularly among youth and women.
He siad Youth Empowerment, ,Entrepreneurship Promotion, Enhancing business opportunities and innovation,Women's Economic Empowerment are Key priorities.
He commended UBG's efforts in tackling key business issues, such as the IPP issue, demonstrating the community's strength and influence in economic decision-making. He emphasized the need for unity and collective decision-making among business stakeholders.
