Different sections of the motorways had again to be closed for traffic on Wednesday after dense fog engulfed large parts of the Punjab, considerably reducing visibility and making it hard for motorists to drive.M-2, M-3 and M-4 sections of the motorway were completely closed for traffic, while M-11, connecting Lahore to Sialkot, was closed for heavy vehicles.
Similarly, fog also resulted in slowing down the pace of traffic on highways.Dense fog has become a daily feature these days, disrupting the flow of traffic on roads.Fog is a phenomenon that usually develops in the plains of Punjab, KP and Sindh in December and January.
