At least five people were injured in hand grenade blast near police mobile van in the provincial capital here on Monday. According to details, a hand grenade exploded near police mobile van in Chalo Bawri area of Satellite Town in Quetta. The police van narrowly escaped in the blast. However, five people present at the scene were injured in the explosion. The injured were shifted to civil hospital Quetta for treatment. The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel cordoned off the area after the incident and collecting the evidences started investigation. A day earlier, two bomb blasts took place in Gwalmandi police jurisdiction and Sariab road areas of Quetta resulting in injuries to five people.
