Faisalabad and Gujranwala Boards announced intermediate part-II exam results on Wednesday, in which mostly top positions were obtained by girls. In Faisalabad, a total of 103,269 students participated in the intermediate exams, with 74,154 candidates passing. The overall success rate stood at 71.81%. A ceremony was held to distribute medals among the top position holders. The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, Nadeem Nasir, Secretary of Board Dr Habib Rehman, Controller Board Dr Jafar Ali, Divisional Director of Secondary Education Kishwar Naheed Rana, CEO Education Kashif Zia, Principal DMC Yasin Mirza, and other dignitaries. In Gujranwala Board, 89,019 students passed the exams, achieving a success rate of 62.32%. Out of 33 total positions, girls secured 17, showcasing their academic excellence. Huda Khalid topped the board with 1,158 marks out of 1,200. Ali Hassan secured the second position with 1,157 marks, while Umaima Tariq claimed the third position with 1,155 marks. A ceremony to honour the position holders was held at Quaid-e-Azam Public School.
