Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has recalled the election program of local government elections in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).A notification to this effect was issued by the ECP.Referring to the promulgation of Islamabad Capital Territory Local Government (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026, the notification said this has changed the structure of local governments and mode of local government elections in Islamabad Capital Territory.
