The government on Thursday decided to expand Faisalabad International Airport. According to the details, to expand the airport, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) headquarters has directed Faisalabad Civil Aviation to acquire land around the airport. Following the headquarters' order, Faisalabad Civil Aviation has sent a letter to the Assistant Commissioner Sadar for the identification and acquisition of the land. The CAA has requested the provision of DC rates for the land acquisition surrounding the airport. According to the decision, alongside Faisalabad, the expansion of Multan and Skardu airports will also be undertaken.
