President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari has said that under his leadership, the ICCI has risen to the top position among country's chambers, thanks to the contributions of various committees formed to promote linkages with key government departments. The hard work of these committees has yielded significant results, earning the Chamber widespread recognition and respect. While addressing ‘Best Performance Committee Awards’ ceremony held here at S.M. Muneer Auditorium on Tuesday, he commended the awardees for their seamless performance for the pride of the Chamber and the benefit of the community extended heartfelt congratulations to them and expressed the hope that they will continue to work with the same spirit and zeal. Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari also highlighted his commitment to selfless service to the business fraternity, citing it as his top priority throughout his tenure. He expressed gratitude for achieving numerous milestones, attributing his success to Allah Almighty.
Reaffirming his commitment to community services, he vowed to support students’ educational pursuits and added that his goal was to provide opportunities and resources, empowering the next generation to achieve excellence and contribute meaningfully to the nation. In his address, former President ICCI and Secretary General UBG Zafar Bakhtawari gave the entire credit of Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari’s success as President to the awardees and other ICCI executives and members by saying that they all have to continue the mission of business community’s service for the economic wellbeing of the country. He added that they have to strengthen this connection by promoting positivity and unity in their ranks for contribution in the prosperity of the motherland. On their part, the awardees came on the stage one by one expressed gratitude to President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari for recognizing their services and bestowing them with awards. They vowed to continue their hard work with the same spirit in future also for the cause of the country.
