The Senate Standing Committee on Housing and Works has raised alarms over the illegal occupation of government flats by police officials in Sector G-6/1, Aabpara. The committee has summoned Inspector General (IG) Islamabad to address the issue in a meeting scheduled for tomorrow at 11 a.m. The session, chaired by Chairman Center Nasir Mahmood, will take place in Committee Room No. 4 of the Parliament House. In addition to addressing the matter of the unauthorized police occupants, the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is expected to provide an update on ongoing development schemes in the new sectors of Islamabad. This meeting aims to shed light on the misallocation of government resources and ensure transparency and accountability in the management.
