Under the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the province has officially launched the Socio-Economic Registry Project. In a meeting chaired by CM Maryam Nawaz, the project's progress was reviewed, and Deputy Commissioners were assigned the task of monitoring the registry. The project will record households' economic status across the province, including livestock in rural areas. Approximately 5,000 registration centers have been established for this purpose. Only registered individuals will be eligible for social protection projects such as the e-bike, Roshan Gharana Solar Program, Himat Card, Kisan Card, and other social protection programs.
Registered citizens can also apply for health cards, livestock cards, and scholarship programs. Residents can register from home via the portal or by contacting the helpline at 02345-0800.
