Bid to smuggle 2 kg hashish to Qatar foiled, accused held at Lahore AirportBreaking

The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled at attempt to smuggle two kilogram hashish worth millions in international market to Qatar and arrested an accused at Lahore Airport on Wednesday. According to details, the ASF scanned the luggage of a passenger of leaving for Doha through Qatar Airways flight 621 at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore. During scanning, two kilogram hashish was found in secret vehicles contained in carton included in the luggage. The ASF offloaded and arrested the accused identified as Hizzat Hayat hailing from district Bannu of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and shifted him to Control Room for investigations. The recovered hashish valued over Rs10 million in international market. The detainee was traveling to Doha on work visa and he had acquired character certificate from Bannu Police which was also attached with his documents.
