Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser Barrister Saif on Saturday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was not afraid of any tactics employed by the Punjab government to stop PTI’s power show in Lahore. In a statement about the PTI's Lahore rally, Saif lashed out at the Punjab Police for illegally arresting as many as 20 PTI workers from the corner meetings, adding that a reign of fear was being spread by the police under the stewardship of the Punjab government. “Maryam Nawaz will be responsible for her actions. This fake government should give up its fascist tactics, and shouldn’t deprive people of their basic rights. We want a peaceful environment for the rally which must be ensured by the government. All standard operating procedures (SOPs) must be complied by the government as well,” he maintained.
