The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized huge cache of drugs and arrested six drug pushers in various operations conducted in different cities across the country. A spokesman of ANF said on Wednesday that 539 kilogram drugs were confiscated and six drug peddlers held in eight operations conducted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Peshawar, Mansehra, Pasni and Pishin. The recovered drugs included 520 kg hashish (Garda), 15.1 kg hashish, 2.9 kg opium and one kilogram of Ice (crystal meth). Two among the detainees confessed of selling drugs to students of educational institutions. Separate cases were registered against the detainees under the Anti-Narcotics Act and further investigations were underway.
