The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 45 kilogram drugs and arrested eight drug peddlers in eight operations conducted in various cities across the country. A spokesman of ANF said that these operations were conducted in Lahore, Islamabad and Hyderabad. During these operations, 45 kg drugs including 35.1 kg hashish, 8.4 kg Opium and 60 gram ecstasy tablets were recovered besides arrest of eight drug peddlers. The detainees admitted of selling drugs to students of educational institutions and they were being investigated after registering separate cases against them under Drug Act.
