Five persons, including three girls, died after drinking poisonous milk at Pir Goth tehsil in Khairpur, while the condition of two girls was stated to be critical till last reports came in on Monday.  Taking notice of the incident, Commissioner Sukkur division Fayyaz Abbasi sought a report from the Khairpur deputy commissioner. Police said that the deceased had been identified as 18-year-old Asghar, 15-year-old Dilbar, Fehmida, Ganj Baby and Sonia Brohi, while the girls who were in critical condition had been shifted to a hospital.  Police further said they were investigating how the milk was mixed with poison.
