Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) personnel have recovered 2.8 kilogram of heroin from a parcel sent to London from a courier office in Karachi. According to ANF spokesperson, not less than 204kgs of drugs were recovered in seven operations and six accused were arrested. Spokesperson said that 980 grams of ice was recovered from a passenger going to Bahrain from Peshawar Airport. About 88.8 kg of hashish and 31.2 kg of opium were recovered from the vehicle near Kot Abdul Malik Toll Plaza Lahore and the accused was arrested. Moreover, 72 kg hashish recovered from vehicle near Ravi Toll Plaza Lahore and accused arrested. Not less than 3kg of opium, 5 kg of hashish and 300 grams of ice were recovered in 3 operations on M-1 Motorway Islamabad and three accused were arrested. Cases have been registered against arrested accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
