The Department of Pakistan Studies at the University of Mansehra organized a ceremony to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, highlighting the enduring friendship and growing cooperation between the two countries.

Talking to Gwadar Pro, Ayesha Alam, Chairperson of the department said the students from the 6th, 7th, and 8th semesters of the department played an active role in organizing the event.

Currently enrolled in a special course on Pakistan-China relations, the students showcased their enthusiasm and commitment through their participation in the ceremony.

She said that the event focused on the historical significance of Pakistan-China ties and the expanding collaboration in education, research, and cultural exchanges.

Speakers at the event noted that bilateral relations have grown stronger in recent years, creating new opportunities for academic and people-to-people engagement.

The ceremony featured a variety of cultural performances, including national songs, speeches, and presentations celebrating the Pakistan-China friendship. The audience warmly received the students’ performances and participation.

At the conclusion of the event, the Department of Pakistan Studies reaffirmed its commitment to promoting academic and cultural initiatives to strengthen Pakistan-China relations.
