A Pakistani parliamentary delegation, led by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, arrived here for a three-day official visit. The delegation is visiting at the invitation of Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC), Gwadar Pro reported.

Upon arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, Speaker Sadiq was received by Aizaz Khan, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Pakistan, and senior Chinese officials, including Ouyang Changqiong, Member of the NPC Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, and Ms. Bai Dandan, Deputy Director-General of the Affairs Bureau of the NPC Standing Committee.

The visit focuses on strengthening parliamentary cooperation and deepening bilateral ties. The delegation is scheduled to meet with senior leadership, including NPC Chairman Zhao Leji and Wang Huning, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

The delegation includes Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam (Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change and Convenor of the Pakistan–China Parliamentary Friendship Group), MNA Muhammad Numan, Parliamentary Secretary Ms. Zeb Jaffar, and MNA Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri.
