Pakistan and China formally marked the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with a vibrant award ceremony held in Karachi, Gwadar Pro reported. It underscored the enduring strength of a partnership widely described as an “all-weather strategic cooperative relationship.”
The event, centered around the awards ceremony of a logo design competition commemorating the milestone, was organized by the Directorate General of the Liaison Office of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Karachi.
The ceremony celebrated creative expressions symbolizing the historic and multifaceted bond between Islamabad and Beijing.
The Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Karachi, Yang Yundong, attended as chief guest and distributed prizes to competition winners, including third-prize recipient Nayab Zahra, whose design reflected the depth and cultural richness of China-Pakistan friendship. Diplomats from Malaysia and Indonesia were also present, along with senior Pakistani officials.
