Famous Pakistani performing-arts celebrity and aviator Fakhar-e-Alam has expressed strong admiration for China following his first-ever visit to the country, saying the experience was far more impressive than he had expected.

Alam, a well-known figure in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, has worked as a singer, television host and actor and has built a large following over the years.

According to a Gwadar Pro's report, he has also gained recognition for his achievements in aviation, including his historic solo flight around the world.

With a substantial social-media following, Alam regularly shares his travels and experiences with his audience.

Sharing his impressions of China after completing the visit, Alam described the country as “glorious” and said he was deeply impressed by what he saw, adding that he could not wait to visit again.

During his trip, Alam explored some of China’s advanced transport, technological and industrial infrastructure.

At the Port of Tianjin, he was particularly impressed by its highly automated operations, including driverless trucks and cranes operating without on-site human operators.

He highlighted the role of Chinese technology in the port’s operations and expressed amazement at the level of automation, particularly Huawei’s contribution to the system.

Alam also visited the global headquarters of Chinese home-appliance giant Haier in Qingdao, describing the experience as a major learning opportunity.

He praised the company’s management for its warm welcome and hospitality.

“It was an honor and a real pleasure to visit the global HQ of Haier in Qingdao,” he wrote, adding that it was a “big learning experience” and praising the company’s hospitality.

In Qingdao, he also visited the headquarters of Hisense, where he said the experience helped him gain a deeper understanding of China’s journey of innovation and growth.

“It was an absolute delight to visit the Hisense HQ in Qingdao,” Alam wrote, saying that the more time he spent there, the more he understood about China’s innovation and growth.

As this was his first trip to the country, he said the experience had left him “speechless.”

The Pakistani celebrity also visited Beijing and experienced China's high-speed rail system for the first time. He praised the smoothness of the journey, describing his first high-speed rail experience as “smooth like silk.”

From the automated operations at Tianjin Port and visits to leading Chinese companies in Qingdao to experiencing Beijing’s high-speed rail, Alam’s trip exposed him to various aspects of China’s technological and economic development.

His first-hand experience left a strong impression on the celebrity, who praised China’s innovation, infrastructure and hospitality and expressed his eagerness to return to the country.
