The three-day “Gwadar Eid Savings Bazaar” has been inaugurated by local shopkeeper Masi Pirani, who cut the ribbon in a ceremony described as a notable example of women’s empowerment and recognition of their role in the region.
The inauguration was attended by RCDC President Abdul Ghani Baloch, General Secretary Behram Baloch, Vice President and Women’s Bazaar In-Charge Sami Gul, Treasurer Jibran Khalil Baloch, former President Nasir Rahim Sohrabi, Data Officer Khadija Amin, Madam Gul Saba, other RCDC council members, and a large number of women, Gwadar Pro reported.
Organizers stated that the bazaar will run from May 22 to May 24, 2026, at the RCDC Council Hall (Syed Hashmi Auditorium) in Gwadar. Its primary objective is to economically empower women in Gwadar and promote their skills and talents.
All stalls have been reserved exclusively for women, and entry for shopping is also limited to women, providing a comfortable and focused environment for Eid preparations.
Stalls feature clothing, shoes, cosmetics, jewelry, mehndi, perfumes, spices, and a variety of food items.
