Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, who is also president of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, has reaffirmed his support for the demands of the people of Ladakh region of Jammua and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, days after announcing his backing for the people of Leh and Kargil, Agha Hassan’s representative, Agha Syed Muntazir, arrived in Kargil to deliver a message of solidarity on behalf of the Agha Hassan’s organization, Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian. In a statement, Agha Muntazir voiced strong support for Ladakh's demands, which include the restoration of statehood, the establishment of a separate Public Service Commission, and other essential rights. “The people of Kashmir deeply resonate with the aspirations of the Ladakh region.

It’s imperative for New Delhi to heed their voices and address their grievances promptly,” he said. During his visit, Aga Muntazir met with prominent Ladakhi leaders, including Jamiat Ulema Asna Asharie Chairman Sheikh Nazir Mehdi, Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust leader Sheikh Rajaie, Chief Executive Councillor of Kargil Hill Council Dr. Jaffar Akhoon, and activist Sajjad Kargili. He assured them that the Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian would leverage all platforms to ensure Ladakh’s concerns reach the relevant authorities and that their demands are addressed swiftly. The statement was warmly received by the people of Kargil, who view the move as a step toward strengthening the bond between Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh region.
