Pak-Saudi business relations set to soar as both nations pledge increased collaborationBreaking

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have affirmed their commitment to boosting business-to-business ties. Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki and Caretaker Minister of Trade and Interior Dr. Gohar Ijaz held discussions, culminating in an agreement to strengthen the economic bonds between the two nations. During the meeting, Minister Ijaz expressed optimism about enhancing Pak-Saudi business relations, highlighting potential opportunities for Saudi investors in Pakistan's steel and petrochemical sectors. Additionally, he emphasized the mutual benefits of Saudi investments in luxury resorts in northern regions, renowned for their natural beauty.

The Commerce Minister underscored the strides taken in fostering cooperation in the IT sector and announced a forthcoming delegation of ten prominent industrialists, set to visit Saudi Arabia next month under his leadership. The mission aims to bolster business-to-business relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with a focus on establishing "Brand Pakistan" stores globally to showcase domestic products. Minister Ijaz later convened with representatives from the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During these discussions, he asserted Islamabad's capacity to export up to $5 billion and expressed enthusiasm about the economic potential that can be unlocked through collaborative efforts.
