Anunay Sood: Indian Travel Influencer and Storyteller Passes Away at 32 — The World Through His Lens Will Never Be the Same”

Anunay Sood, an Indian-born and Dubai-based creator known as a travel vlogger, photographer, and influencer, has passed away at the age of 32 at Las Vegas. Anunay’s family confirmed the heartbreaking news of his death on Thursday, November 6th.
In their statement, the family shared only the news of his passing but did not disclose the cause of death. They also requested privacy during this extremely difficult and painful time, asking Anunay’s fans and followers not to gather near his private residence. The family emphasized that they are in no position to respond or engage publicly right now, as they navigate this immense loss.

When a vibrant, cheerful, and full-of-life person suddenly departs, it feels as though he takes a part of the world with him. For many people, Anunay was a lens through which they saw the beauty of life and the world. His unexpected passing leaves a void — it’s as if the world has lost a bit of its color, and many have lost their way of seeing it. “You must adapt. I never considered Instagram and all these platforms to be my primary source of income; it was always secondary, and I was doing it for my passion because I love travelling and I loved showing it to other people,” he said.
At just 32 years of age, Anunay Sood had already experienced so much — traveling across continents, inspiring millions through his work, and leaving behind a legacy that continues to touch hearts across the globe. He shot films from 46 countries and amassed a significant presence across social media, attracting more than 1.4 million followers on Instagram and around 380,000 subscribers on YouTube according to multiple reports. He earned a spot on Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars list for three consecutive years — 2022, 2023, and 2024 — a testament to his growing influence in the digital space.
Just days before his passing, Sood’s social media featured a carousel showcasing luxury sports cars and snapshots from Las Vegas, he wrote in his caption: “Still can’t believe I spent the weekend surrounded by legends and dream machines.” One of his final uploads, a YouTube video released on November 3, 2025, was titled “Exploring the Hidden Side of Switzerland | Places Tourists Never Visit,” offering viewers a glimpse into his signature storytelling style and passion for uncovering unseen destinations.
