Nadia Khan Faces Backlash as Talha Anjum Stays Calm Under FireBreaking

November 24, 2025

Pakistani rapper Talha Anjum has been trending on social media—this time not because of his performance, but because of the way he was treated on a live TV show hosted by Nadia Khan. Viewers felt that Nadia Khan didn’t give Talha enough space to explain himself, and as a result, she faced strong backlash online. In contrast, Talha Anjum handled the entire situation with remarkable calmness and maturity.

Talha had appeared on her show to clarify a recent controversy but throughout the interview, Nadia Khan repeatedly questioned his patriotism and asked overly sarcastic, pointed questions. He tried to explain the situation that during a concert in Nepal, a fan handed him an Indian flag, and he briefly held it as a gesture of love and support—not politics.

He explained that he quickly realized such an action could unintentionally hurt his Pakistani fans, especially given the sensitive relationship between the two countries. His intention, he emphasized, was simply to show positivity and harmony, not to offend anyone.

Instead of allowing a thoughtful conversation, the exchange turned tense as Nadia Khan continuously pressed him to “prove” his love for Pakistan, escalating the situation unnecessarily.

As Nadia pushed him again and again, Talha responded with patience. He said, “I have always been proud of being Pakistani and never seen Pakistani artists stoop to hate or threats.” He further clarified that “I wanted to focus on harmony, note hate, and promise to be more mindful on stage.”

However, Nadia Khan had to face massive backlash for her behavior, as many viewers felt she displayed almost no sense or professionalism during the interview. Some even commented that she “doesn’t know how to host a show” at all.

In contrast, several celebrities came forward to support Talha Anjum. Yasir Hussain praised the rapper, calling him a “true Pakistani” and appreciating the fact that he is not only invited to international platforms but also represents Pakistan in a positive way.

Farhan Saeed also voiced his support, saying that the world needs to see that Pakistanis are people of big hearts—capable of grace, tolerance, and understanding.
