The Directorate of Soil and Water Conservation (DSWC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched a watershed project costing Rs 6 million in Dolomuch Valley to irrigate 119 acres of rainfed land.
Highlighting the core benefits of the project, Director General DSWC, Yaseen Khan in his inaugural statement said that the project will help transform the barren land of district Chitral into resourceful besides creating employment opportunities in the region.
Vice Chancellor of Chitral University, Zahir Shah said the project will help the varsity students in conducting research.
