Sustainable tourist initiatives, according to Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Barrister Murtaza Javed Abbasi, will give future generations a better environment. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is blessed with valleys with a paradise atmosphere due to tourism places and good weather, he said during a meeting with Secretary of Tourism of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tahir Orakzai. He urged the provincial tourism department to speed up the sector's promotion and growth.
The minister also received a thorough briefing on initiatives related to the tourism sector that are being carried out in Saidu Sharif, Miandum, Kalam, Besham, Chitral, Booni, rest houses at Bumboriat, closure of chairlift and Tourism Department’s property in Malakand Division. He ordered that all necessary amenities be made available to visitors year-round.
Addressing at the event, Zafar Mahmood, Advisor to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Culture and Tourism, said that any obstacle to the promotion of tourism would not be accepted. He called for using every resource possible in this respect.
