Pakistan will showcase and advertise its tourism potential at the upcoming World Travel Market (WTM) scheduled to be organized from 7th–9th November, 2022, at Excel London. The information was shared by the Managing Director of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Aftab-ur-Rehman Rana in a press statement.
He said, “the PTDC will be participating in the WTM after a break of 14 years.
This is the reason that we have prepared an excellent pavilion for marketing the tourism potential of Pakistan after collaborating with provincial governments and private partners.”
The government of Pakistan, according to him, is primarily focused on promoting Pakistan as a top tourist destination. According to the MD, Pakistan is endowed with stunning natural beauty, a rich cultural past, and a wide variety of landscapes that provide an unrivalled tourism potential.
He continued, “the Government of Pakistan seeks to increase the influx of foreign tourists to realize the rich tourism potential of this nation and to contribute towards the socio-economic development of its people.”
According to him, the World Travel Market (WTM) London is one of the biggest international tourism exhibitions and will offer Pakistan a special opportunity to network with top tourism organizations, experts, and professionals, exhibitors, and visitors from a range of industries, including travel, hospitality, aviation, transportation, travel technology, resort management companies, and various other subsectors of the tourism industry.
He said, “it is a significant international event when representatives from over 180 nations gather to exhibit their tourism potential.”
