Pak Aluminum Beverage Ltd’s revenue climbs to Rs10.8b in F9FY22

The Pakistan Aluminum Beverage Cans Limited’s revenue increased 89% to Rs10.8 billion in the first nine months of FY22 compared with Rs5.7 billion in the corresponding period of the last year, reports WealthPK.

Similarly, the gross profit registered an increase of 84% during the nine months of FY22 standing at Rs3.7 billion as against Rs2 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The company posted a net profit of Rs2.4 billion during the nine months of FY22 compared to a profit of Rs1.2 billion in the corresponding period of the last year, showing a massive positive growth of 107% year-on-year, reports WealthPK.

Performance in 2021

 

During CY2021, the company, however, maintained a strong sales trend generating a revenue of Rs7.2 billion over Rs5.1 billion in CY2020, posting an increase of 42% year-on-year. The gross profit for CY21 stood at Rs2.6 billion, 66% up from a profit of Rs1.5 billion in CY20.

Profit-after-taxation for the year jumped to Rs1.6 billion, higher by a striking 158% than Rs610 million in CY20.

 

Earnings Per Share

The earnings per share (EPS) of the company reached Rs4.37 in 2021, up from Rs1.69 in 2020 showing a remarkable growth.
