Naval cadets briefed on Gwadar’s geographical importance

The students of Pakistan Naval Cadet College Ormara visited Gwadar for a two-day study visit at the invitation of Gwadar Development Authority (GDA)’s Director General Mujeebur Rahman Qambrani to learn about the port city.
Deputy Director of Environment Abdul Rahim Baloch briefed the cadets on the geographical importance of Gwadar, its historical background, development projects and the functions of GDA, a press release received by WealthPK said.
The cadets visited China Business Center and Gwadar Port. Later, they were briefed about the seaport.
The cadets reviewed the cricket stadium, football ground, sewage treatment plant, beach model park and other development projects built under the GDA. They took interest in the design and construction of the GDA projects and their socio-economic impact. The students also visited GDA Higher Public School.
Earlier, Deputy Director of Staff GDA Nazar Muhammad welcomed the cadets on their arrival at the authority’s office. The delegation was led by their Vice Principal Khawar Jamal.
