KP to provide youth with high-quality technical education

Managing Director of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (KPTEVTA) Prof Engineer Abdul Ghaffar Khan said the provincial government is taking concrete steps to provide the young with extremely good education and skills to match the market's need. He made these remarks at a tree-planting event at the Dera Ismail Khan Government Polytechnic Institute for Women in front of many students and faculty members.

The provincial administration, he stated, is working to bring the province's technical educational institutions up to the demands of the current times despite its limited resources, so that young people do not have any difficulty finding jobs. According to Ghaffar, millions of students gain respectable jobs each year thanks to technical education in a range of technologies.

He noted that the KPTEVTA also offers free education and housing to students from minority Christian, Hindu, and Sikh communities in addition to monthly stipends. He said that every institution is being solarized in order to give professors and students a supportive atmosphere for learning. The same goes for contemporary computer laboratories and other gear and equipment of international standards, he continued, to give students access to all learning facilities while keeping in mind the standards set by developed countries.

Ghaffar also pledged his unwavering support for finding solutions to the institution's and the instructors' difficulties. Principal Sara Khan and Coordinator Zafar Awan valued the visiting dignitary's commitment to the growth of the technical institute and assuring merit.
