The exports of electric fans from Pakistan increased by 7.87% in the first half of the current fiscal year (2022-23) compared to the same period of the previous year. Pakistan exported fans worth $10.886 million from July to December 2022-23 as opposed to $10.092 million from July to December 2021-22, showing a 7.87% increase, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). However, the number of fans exported fell from 575,000 to 569,000, depicting a 1.04% decline.
In the meantime, on an annual basis, the exports of fans fell by 23.65% in December 2022 compared to the same month in the previous year. According to the PBS statistics, fan exports decreased from $1.784 million in December 2021 to $1.362 million in December 2022. However, when compared month to month, the exports of fans rose by 103.89% in December 2022 compared to $0.668 million in November 2022.
