Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) and Habib Bank Limited (HBL) have signed an agreement to enable students to deposit their education fees online, according to a press statement received by WealthPK.
Such measures would save students precious time, BUITEMS Vice Chancellor Ahmed Farooq Bazai said at the signing ceremony. Under the agreement, more facilities would be provided to students in the future by improving the capabilities of the institution, he said.
He said BUITEMS was striving to provide quality education to its students so that they could utilize their abilities for the betterment of the country and the province.
Ahmed Farooq welcomed Habib Bank Limited’s delegation and gave a comprehensive briefing about the university. The delegation visited different sections of the university and met academic staff and senior officials.
The agreement was signed by acting Vice Chancellor Dr Nazir Durrani on behalf of BUITEMS and Irfan Qureshi, Head of Transaction Employees Banking Limited on behalf of HBL. The signing ceremony was attended by Registrar of BUITEMS Dr Zahid Rauf, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Dr Ali Nawaz, Dean of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology Dr Bakhtiar Kasi, Dean of Faculty of Basic Sciences Dr Hamadullah Tareen and senior teachers.
