Chief Executive Engineer of Quetta Electric Supply Company Abdul Karim Jamali met Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani at the Parliament House and briefed him on the projects being undertaken to provide electricity to different areas of Balochistan province, including Union Council Charsar. Sanjrani gave him instructions to finish all ongoing power supply projects, including those in the Union Council Charsar, as quickly as feasible.
He said Balochistan's growth and prosperity would boost the country’s overall economic stability. He argued that industrial growth is a prerequisite for economic development and that factories cannot function without a power source. He emphasised that it was the responsibility of the government to make sure that people have access to gas, electricity, and other basic necessities.
