Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is all set to host a three-day mega exhibition of construction and allied industries titled “3rd BUILD Expo 2023” under the theme “Offering one-stop solution for all property needs” in Rawalpindi, from June 2. The RCCI President Saqib Rafiq said the exhibition is being arranged with basic objective of providing an opportunity for the construction and all the respective allied industries to experience the best available networking and connections that ultimately improve the overall business for the sector in the country.
“Amidst the prevailing economic challenges in the country, the construction sector still owns huge potential to steer the economy towards stability as there are massive prospects to attract foreign investment,” he said. Highlighting the features of the upcoming event, the RCCI president said the exhibition will feature booths for all respective companies associated with construction sector, including builders, developers, property, construction, and allied industry materials, tiles, ceramics, paints, interior, electrical cables, and relevant accessories.
Saqib said the RCCI has been making continuous efforts to create a conducive business environment in a positive endeavour to promote and strengthen the industry by organising a variety of national and international events, such as exhibitions and conferences. He said all leading industries associated with construction sector are coming to make this event successful by showcasing their services and products.
The RCCI president said the construction sector, which is associated with 40 allied industries, is a leading sector in providing employment opportunities in the country. He said leading builders and developers from the construction sector of the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, including The Giga Group, Prism Estate and Builders, Blue Arc Design and Developers, Ascom Consulting and Masterfit, and Alpha Pipe Industries, are participating at the event. On the sidelines of the planned exhibition, a conference with panel discussions with the representatives of the construction sector will also be arranged to highlight the barriers to innovation and development in the construction industry.
