The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has appealed to the international community to press India to take concrete steps for the settlement of the Kashmir dispute, as the BJP-led Indian government has waged a war against the defenseless population of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Abdul Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India has been committing serious human rights violations, including house raids and the arrest of youth—including doctors—on fabricated charges in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He urged the international community to ensure that India takes concrete steps to resolve the Kashmir dispute once and for all.Minhas further highlighted that Indian forces continue ruthless raids and cordon-and-search operations across the occupied territory to terrorize freedom-seeking Kashmiris. Hundreds of innocent people—including doctors, academics, and students—have been arrested since the November 10 Red Fort incident on fabricated charges aimed at manufacturing a false terror narrative. Draconian laws such as the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and Public Safety Act (PSA) are being weaponized to allow arbitrary detentions without evidence or fair trial.
Homes are raided, properties seized, and families harassed under the pretext of “search operations,” with professionals deliberately targeted to propagate the false notion of “white-collar militancy.” Minhas warned that the ongoing crackdown seeks to silence dissent, criminalize education, and punish Kashmiris for asserting their right to freedom. The Modi regime’s actions reflect a colonial-style agenda driven by coercion, surveillance, and psychological warfare. Despite relentless oppression, the spirit of the Kashmiri people remains unshaken, and India must be held accountable internationally for its systematic campaign to terrorize and subjugate Kashmiris.
