Several people including Pakistanis were reported injured by falling shrapnel in the Khor Fakkan Port area in the Emirate of Sharjah, after air defences intercepted missile and drone attacks. The Sharjah Government Media Office stated that the incident at the strategic port resulted in severe injuries to a Nepalese national, who was evacuated to a hospital for treatment.
Three Pakistani nationals sustained varying degrees of injuries from the debris following what the statement described as a “capable interception” by air defence systems, according to the UAE news agency (WAM). The statement added that firefighting and rescue teams successfully contained a fire that broke out at the site.
