Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry visited the Capital Elite Police Training Center in Islamabad on Saturday. During his visit, Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the performance of the Capital Elite Training Course and the CTD Course.Mohsin Naqvi and Talal Chaudhry inspected other physical exercises including rappelling.

Mohsin Naqvi also reviewed the developmental and professional affairs of the Capital Elite Police Training Center and inspected the training facilities available at the center. Mohsin Naqvi met with the officers and instructors of the Elite Training Center and appreciated their performance. Interior Minister stressed on further improvement in the training and response time of the elite force in view of the threats of terrorism and extremism.

Mohsin Naqvi praised the skills and professional abilities of the trainees. Talking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said the Elite Training School will play an important role in enhancing the capabilities of the security forces. IGP Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi briefed the Federal Interior Minister about the ongoing training activities, security arrangements and operational preparedness at the Elite Training School.

Interior Minister was briefed that special attention is being paid to the firing skills of the trainees. The Interior Secretary, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, DIGs and concerned police officers were also present on the occasion.
