52 Middle East-bound flights cancelled from Pakistanتازترین

Flight operations of different airlines were badly disrupted as 52 two-way flights failed to take off from six airports of the country.The airlines whose flights were cancelled include Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Airblue, Air Arabia, Iran Air, Qatar Airways, Air Sial, Flynas, Oman Air, Gulf Air, and other airlines.28 flights were cancelled from Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi.

These two-way flights were scheduled to depart for Dubai, Mashhad, Dammam, Madinah, Riyadh, Baghdad, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Muscat, and Malaysia. 4 flights were cancelled from New Islamabad International Airport, Islamabad (NIIA). These flights were scheduled to take off from Karachi to the Kabul-Bahrain sector.4 flights were cancelled from Allama Iqbal International Airport (NIIA), Lahore.

All these flights were scheduled to depart for Dubai. 10 flights were cancelled from Bacha Khan Airport, Peshawar. These flights were scheduled to land in Dubai, Doha, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Fujairah. 4 flights were cancelled from Multan International Airport. These flights were scheduled to depart for Dubai and Qatar.It is necessary to mention here that 2808 Gulf-destined flights, which were cancelled over the last 37 days, were from Peshawar.
