A 14-year-old girl has tragically died of dengue fever in Lahore, marking the first confirmed fatality due to the disease in the city this year. The girl, who was under treatment at Mayo Hospital, had been admitted two days ago with a high fever. Despite efforts by medical staff, she succumbed to complications related to the viral infection. Punjab Health Department has confirmed the death and expressed concern over the ongoing dengue outbreak in the region. Authorities have urged the public to take preventive measures as dengue cases continue to rise across the province.
