The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned the attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, stating that India is desperately trying to equate Kashmiris’ legitimate freedom struggle with terrorism through false flag operations and anti-Pakistan propaganda. According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar, referring to the 20 March 2000 attack on Sikhs in Chittisinghpura, Islamabad district, during former US President Bill Clinton’s visit to India said India has a long history of staging false flags to malign the Kashmir cause and vilify Pakistan.
Interestingly, this attack too has been carried out during US vice President JD Vance’s ongoing visit to the country. "History shows India repeatedly stages such dramas before major diplomatic events to divert attention from its atrocities in Kashmir," the statement read, citing similar incidents in the past like Pathankot, Uri, Indian Parliament, Pulwama and Jammu Air Force Base as hallmarks of India’s false flag strategy to garner international sympathy. Investigations in Sikh massacre revealed the involvement of Indian forces, it added.
The APHC urged the United Nations to implements its resolutions on Kashmir to avert a big catastrophe in South Asia as a result of India’s such false flag operations. The spokesman, made it clear that the Modi regime would fail to deceive the international community by playing the victim card, ever y now and then , as it has always failed to offer credible evidence for its repeated allegations against Pakistan. Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas maintained that the Kashmiri people are fighting for their UN-recognized right to self-determination — not terrorism, their freedom movement has been accepted as a just struggle at the global level.
