Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Amman, Jordan, on Wednesday to participate in a Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem. According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Senator Ishaq Dar was received by officials of the Embassy of Pakistan upon his arrival in the Jordanian capital. The deputy prime minister will attend the ministerial meeting on Jerusalem and is also scheduled to meet Jordan’s King Abdullah II during his visit.
The Foreign Office spokesperson said that Senator Ishaq Dar will hold meetings with foreign ministers from different countries to discuss the situation in the occupied Palestinian territory, along with regional and bilateral issues of mutual interest. The ministerial meeting has been convened by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. During the visit, the deputy prime minister will engage with participating foreign ministers on key regional developments and matters of shared concern.
