Women chamber to host industrial exhibition in Sialkot
The Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) Sialkot will host the first-ever women's industrial exhibition in the coming February. The show will feature hand-embroidered fabric shawls, bedsheets created by block printing and screen knitting, cushions, dupattas, handmade jewellery, handcrafted purses, and food and drink vendors.At a meeting attended by officials of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Ms. Nadia Qaiser from WCCI Sialkot stated this.According to Nadia Qaiser, new businesswomen will be launched at the expo with the intention of raising the market value of their goods and giving them a platform for business development.An SBP official also gave businesswomen a presentation on solar energy and other financing options.
