WHO demands return of vehicle provided to Umerkot DC
The World Health Organisation (WHO) Monday demanded return of the vehicle that had been provided to the Umerkot deputy commissioner for surveying the flood-hit areas. In its complaint to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the WHO said that the vehicle had been given to the Umerkot deputy commissioner for the polio campaign only. The General Administration Department of Pakistan informed the Umerkot deputy commissioner about the concerns of the WHO.“The said vehicle was obtained for surveying the flood-hit areas. It has been returned, and information about its return has been conveyed through a letter,” Umerkot Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Bakhsh Dharejo stated.
