Warrior woman statue vandalized in Islamabad Park
A statue of a warrior woman placed at the centre of Islamabad’s I-8 Kachnar Park has been vandalized by the unknown persons, it surfaced on Wednesday.
According to details, the structure of the statue was damaged as a result of tumbling and the administration has not yet been able to restore the statue to its original place.
On the request of a citizen, Chief Commissioner Captain (retd) Usman took notice of the incident and directed the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad to take immediate action against the persons involving in knocking down the statue.
