Urgent: 5.2-magnitude quake hits 79km SW of Taybad, Iran -- USGS
WASHINGTON, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted 79 km SW of Taybad, Iran at 0429 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 34.1449 degrees north latitude and 60.2871 degrees east longitude.
