Urgent: 5.0-magnitude quake hits 72km NW of Nikolski, Alaska -- USGS
WASHINGTON, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 72km NW of Nikolski, Alaska at 0307 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 108.35 km, was initially determined to be at 53.3558 degrees north latitude and 169.7054 degrees west longitude.
