Prisoners set ablaze property worth millions during Gujrat Jail ransack
The prisoners during ransack in District Jail Gujrat set ablaze property worth millions of rupees and pelted stones at police. Nine people were injured in the clashes. According to details, the prisoners of District Jail Gujrat set on fire the jail hospital, cereals godown, water filtration plants and other property rendering millions of losses.
The prisoners also clashed with police and jail staff during ransack. Nine people including police officials, jail staffers and four prisoners were injured in brawl. A case regarding ransacking and setting property on fire was registered.
