PM directs for a comprehensive strategy to help BISP grantees to stand on their own feet
ISLAMABAD, Dec 8 (INP): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Friday directed Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to chalk out a comprehensive graduation strategy enabling and equipping the cash grantees to earn their own livelihoods.
The Prime Minister issued the directive while chairing a meeting on BISP at the Prime Minister’s office here. The Prime Ministeralso approved a proposal for setting up of the Endowment Fund for the BISP that would ensure fiscal continuity in lean budgetary periods and would act as a catalyst in generating income for supporting various development schemes on fund structure.
