Newborn girl found dead in Karachi garbage dump
The dead body of a newborn baby girl was found in a garbage dump near Inquiry Office No 2 in Nazimabad, Karachi on Monday. According to the rescue officials, the body was shifted to a Chhipa mortuary after post-mortem. “Children are the blessing of Allah. Do not kill them. Put them in the Chhipa cradles. Fill the lap of the childless,” Muhammad Ramazan Chhipa appealed to the people. “Instead of throwing the newborn babies into the garbage pits and drains, put them in the Chhipa cradles installed at the Chhipa centres,” he added.
