Lahore police in Bhakkar to take Gandapur into custody
Lahore police arrived Wednesday to take Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Amin Gandapur into custody from Bhakkar police. Ali Amin Gandapur was wanted by Lahore police too in a terrorism case. Lahore police completed all the arrangements and paperwork for demanding transit remand of Ali Amin Gandapur from a local court of Bhakkar. Meanwhile, Ali Amin Gandapur was produced in a Bhakkar court amid tight security arrangements. He was produced in the court of senior civil judge Asif Niaz. Bhakkar police demanded physical remand of Gandapur. Lawyers of the PTI’s legal team were also present in the court. They demanded dismissal of the case from the court.
